This is the tree of enlightenment.
The Banyan tree lives forever, it is immortal.
Growing into a mighty tree by itself, it drops innumerable root like extensions from it's branches to the earth, which in turn becomes fresh roots and extends the tree in all directions.
The process goes on and on, provinding and ever increasing area of shade and shelter to people.
Similarly, God, is likewise providing ever increasing protection and peace for the benefit of the entire humanity always and forever. '
Tis a wish fulfilling celestial tree, identical to Divinity. ~
