The Pathway
Of Virtue
Holy saints and sages tell us that, "Whatever happens,
the path of virtue should not be given up."
A true path, yet the hardest path.
When things go a sway, and trials come your way,
Faith wanes and you are under mighty strain,
This path of virtue, is mostly shunned away.
There comes transient pleasures, knocking at your door,
And you welcome it for sure.
When you allow transient pleasures to be more forcibly stronger
than you then the true path seems unsure.
